Black Sabbath | Sabotage | 1980 Reissue

Black Sabbath – Sabotage (1980 Dutch NEMS Pressing) | VG+/VG

An excellent opportunity to own **Black Sabbath's *Sabotage***, the legendary British heavy metal band's sixth studio album, originally released in 1975.

This is the **1980 Netherlands pressing on NEMS Records**, catalogue number **NEL 6018**, manufactured in Holland and featuring the distinctive black NEMS record label.

With its unmistakable combination of crushing guitar riffs, progressive arrangements and Ozzy Osbourne's powerful vocals, *Sabotage* remains one of Black Sabbath's most adventurous and highly regarded albums.

Recorded during a turbulent period in the band's history, the album showcases the classic line-up of **Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward** at their creative peak.

Opening with the explosive *Hole in the Sky*, the album moves through the short acoustic interlude *Don't Start (Too Late)* before launching into the monumental *Symptom of the Universe*, widely regarded as one of the earliest and most influential examples of thrash metal's musical foundations.

Other highlights include the ambitious *Megalomania*, the atmospheric *The Writ*, and *Am I Going Insane (Radio)*, demonstrating the band's willingness to experiment beyond conventional heavy rock.

An essential album for collectors of original-era Black Sabbath, classic heavy metal and 1970s British hard rock.
