Welcome to Comfortably Spun Records – Where Rock Lives on Vinyl

A new home for classic rock, heavy metal, punk, progressive rock and alternative vinyl.

There's something special about owning music on vinyl.

The artwork. The sleeve notes. The anticipation of lowering the stylus onto a record. The smell, or is that just me? And, of course, the music itself.

At Comfortably Spun Records, we believe great rock music deserves to be enjoyed, collected and preserved on the format that helped make it legendary.

A Record Shop Built for Rock Fans

Comfortably Spun Records is an independent UK online record shop specialising in pre-owned vinyl records.

Our collection focuses on the music we love:

• Classic rock and hard rock

• Heavy metal and NWOBHM

• Progressive and psychedelic rock

• Punk and new wave

• Indie, alternative rock and grunge

• Rare and collectible vinyl pressings

From the pioneering sounds of the 1960s and 1970s to the heavier, louder and more alternative music of later decades, our aim is to build a carefully selected collection for genuine music enthusiasts.

Every Record Has a Story

For collectors, there's often more to a record than the artist and album title.

Different pressings, record labels, sleeve variations and matrix numbers can all help tell the story of a particular release.

That's why we take the time to research and describe the records we offer, highlighting relevant pressing details wherever they can be verified.

Whether you're searching for an early pressing of a favourite album or simply want a great record to add to your collection, we want you to know exactly what you're buying.

Honest Grading and Real Photographs

Buying second-hand vinyl online should be straightforward.

Every record we sell is individually inspected and visually graded using recognised Goldmine grading standards.

We clearly describe the condition of the vinyl and its sleeve, including any noticeable imperfections.

Our records are visually graded and are not play-tested.

We also photograph the actual records being offered for sale, rather than relying on generic catalogue images.

Records are cleaned before dispatch and securely packaged to help protect them during delivery.

More Than Just a Record Shop

Through The Vinyl Vault, we'll be sharing articles about collecting vinyl, identifying different pressings, understanding matrix numbers and exploring some of rock music's most memorable releases.

We'll also be looking at the artists, albums and musical movements that helped shape rock history.

Whether you're a lifelong collector or just beginning your vinyl journey, we hope you'll find something worth reading.

Welcome to the Collection

Comfortably Spun Records is being built around a simple idea: offer rock fans a carefully selected range of pre-owned vinyl, described accurately, priced fairly and treated with the respect it deserves.

We look forward to sharing the collection with you.
